In his January 30 State of the Union address, President Trump missed a chance to explain to the largest audience he can ever have what the “immigration debate” is really about. Widely mislabeled, it is a political fight about (1) whether and how to stop mass immigration that has been illegal under current law; and (2) whether, to stem the tide, there should be new law changing what is currently lawful.
Of particular interest to death penalty supporters, the president seemed to imply that ending illegal immigration would end homicide. In fact, while murders by criminal aliens are a major problem, dealing with them will do nothing about the far greater number of murders by American citizen savages. Only prompt capital punishment for ALL convicted murderers can deal with both citizen and illegal alien barbarians.
