This brief article explains why victims’ families opposed to capital punishment are not only unrepresentative, but also should have no say in whether a murderer is to be executed.

              Capital punishment for intentional unlawful homicide should be mandatory, even if a victim’s survivors desire to give the murderer convicted of killing their loved one(s) a chance to unlawfully kill other people’s loved ones.
